Shri M. Rajsekara Murthy

Pavithra Halkatti’s maternal grandfather, Shri M. Rajsekara Murthy a senior politician who served the nation for more than 50 years, held several senior cabinet ministry positions in the government of Karnataka, which included important portfolios such as the ministries of Finance, Industry, Revenue, and Excise.

Shri M. Rajsekara Murthy served as union minister for surface transport, during the regime of former prime minister Sri. P V Narasimha Rao.
